All of the information on this page relates to the these models of Hope hub only.

For help with a different Hope hub please follow the questions on our Hope Parts Finder

In addition to making puns, we're also very good at helping with Hope technical issues and compatibility questions.

Bearings

The Pro2, Pro2 EVO and Pro 4 front hubs all use a pair of 20x32x7mm bearings.  We like using the SKF bearings as replacements as we've found them to be super high quality, really durable, and cost-effective.

The bearing codes are 6804 or 61804 if you choose to buy other bearings.

Endcaps

Need help understanding the lingo?

The bicycle industry is well known for it’s lack of “standards” and hubs seem to be the worst offenders!    We've got some great information to help you better understand the different widths and diamters of hubs.

Front hub endcaps are press-fit into the bearings. This 100mm hub can be converted to the following:

100x9mm Quick release with: HUB419
100x9mm thru-bolt with: HUB443
100X12mm thru-axle with: HUB482
100x15mm thru-axle with: HUB441
100x15mm Torque Cap with: HUB485
110x20mm non-Boost with: HUB420

110x12mm Road-Boost Conversion

This is a two-step process.  You'll need to convert your hub to 100x12 using HUB482 and then use our generic Road-Boost spacer kit.

110x15mm Boost Conversion

The best option:
Convert to 110x15mm Torque Cap with the MRP kit. This does not require a re-dish. MRP-WB-17-5207

Other options:
Hope sell two endcap kits which will convert the hub to 110x15mm Boost, however both of the Hope kits will require the wheel to be re-dished. We don't suggest you use these parts.
Convert to 110x15mm with: HUB1009-14N (redish required)
Convert to 110x15mm Torque Cap with: HUB486 (redish required)

The "generic" kit will work just-fine however will have two spacers which can fall out when the thru-axle is removed. Sku: WW_generic_boost_front

110x20mm Boost Conversion

(Ask Tristan - this might be possible with a little lathe magic)
