Sandys DT Swiss 240s and ELF hubs with Hed C2 rims

This pair of wheels was a Christmas present for a very lucky South Island woman.

An 18 hole Alchemy ELF front hub is matched with a 24 hole DT Swiss 240s rear hub.

All spokes are DT Swiss bladed Aerolites with two white spokes at each valve.  Red spoke nipples add some colour.

The Hed C2 rims are, in my opinion, the best quality aluminium rim on the market:  They have a great brake surface, are very stiff, exceptionally round, and their 23mm width allows lower tyre pressure to be run for better traction and comfort.

1408 grams actual weight is amazingly light for a do-all wheelset.
