Clint’s DT Swiss 240s hubs and red rims

I love DT Swiss 240s hubs – their simple design offers great performance, low weight, and almost zero maintenance.

For Clint I laced this hubset to a pair of red Kinlin XR-270 rims.

The front spokes are DT Swiss Revolution, the rear are DT Swiss Competition. Front spoke nipples are aluminium to save weight while the rear wheel uses brass for durability.

Stan’s Podium MMX rear wheel

The Podium MMX is the lightest of the Stan’s rims – this 26″ rim was only 294 grams.

Laced to a Stan’s ZTR hub with DT Swiss Revolution spokes and DT Swiss aluminium spoke nipples this rear wheel weighs only 692 grams.
